Steven Heller, perhaps the most prolific design writer/historian, came to Washington to speak on the history of design for totalitarian states. Covering design of the Third Reich, Mussolini's Fascist Italy, and Soviet and Chinese Communist states, Mr. Heller discussed their propoganda. We created a 24" x 36" poster that was mailed to over 1200 ADCMW members. We also produced "party" buttons for the event. These were presented and distrbuted in a replica German WWII helmet.
